Dining Room Furniture in Bhopal
Four, six and eight-seater dining sets, crockery units and bar cabinets in solid and engineered wood.
Dining tables fail on clearance far more often than on looks. A six-seater that fits the floor but leaves no room to pull a chair out is a table for four in practice. The room decides the table, not the other way round.

Choosing dining room furniture
What we check before quoting, and what is worth deciding before you order.
Measure for the chairs, not the table
Allow roughly 75–90 cm between the table edge and the nearest wall or sideboard, so a chair can be pulled out and sat in. This is the single measurement that decides whether a dining set works.
Allow enough edge per person
About 60 cm of table edge per seat is comfortable. Six people need roughly five to six feet of table length, which is why a nominal six-seater sometimes seats four in comfort.
Match the shape to the room
Rectangular tables suit long rooms and sit neatly against a wall. A round table seats more people in a tight corner and removes the sharp edges, which helps in homes with small children.
Think about the top you will live with
A glass top keeps a small room visually open but shows every fingerprint and water mark. Solid wood hides daily use and can be re-polished after years of it.
Materials we use
What each one is good at, so the choice is yours rather than ours.
- Solid sheesham or teak
- Can be sanded and re-polished when the surface tires. Teak is denser and more stable; sheesham is usually the more economical solid wood.
- Toughened glass
- Safer than ordinary glass and easy to clean, though it needs wiping far more often than it needs anything else.
- Cane or cushioned seats
- Cane breathes and suits the climate. Cushioned seats are more comfortable for long meals and can be re-covered later.
- Plywood carcass for units
- Crockery units and sideboards carry real weight on their shelves — the carcass matters more than the door finish.
Questions about dining room furniture
How much room do I need for a six-seater?
The table itself is usually five to six feet long, and you need a further 75–90 cm clear on each side for chairs to pull out. If that does not fit, a round table or a four-seater with an extension is often the better answer.
Can you make a dining table to an odd size?
Yes — that is the normal case rather than the exception. If your room suits a 5½-foot table, we build a 5½-foot table instead of making you choose between five and six.
Glass top or wooden top?
Glass keeps a small dining area feeling open and wipes clean, but shows marks constantly. Wood is more forgiving in daily use and can be re-polished years later. Both sit on the same frames, so the choice is about how you live, not about strength.
