Living Room Furniture in Bhopal

Sofa sets, coffee tables, TV units and accent chairs — built to fit your living room rather than a standard size.

Living rooms in Bhopal flats are often long and narrow, with a door, a window and a television wall competing for the same run of wall. That, rather than the sofa itself, is usually what decides the layout. We measure the room first and work backwards from how you actually sit in it.

What we build for this room

Choosing living room furniture

What we check before quoting, and what is worth deciding before you order.

Leave room to walk past

Allow roughly 75–90 cm for a walkway behind or beside a sofa, and 35–45 cm between the sofa edge and the centre table. A set that fits the floor but blocks the path is the most common mistake we are asked to fix.

Be honest about seat count

A 3+2+1 arrangement suits occasional guests. If the room is used every evening by the same four people, a deeper three-seater with two chairs is usually more comfortable and leaves more floor.

Plan the television wall with the seating

Comfortable viewing distance is roughly one and a half to two and a half times the screen diagonal. Deciding the TV unit and the sofa together avoids a room where one of them is in the wrong place.

Choose upholstery for the climate

Fabric breathes and stays cooler through a Madhya Pradesh summer. Leatherette wipes clean in seconds, which matters with small children. We keep samples of both at the showroom.

Materials we use

What each one is good at, so the choice is yours rather than ours.

Seasoned hardwood frame
The part you never see, and the part that fails first when it is wrong. Seasoned timber resists warping in dry heat.
High-density foam
Holds its shape over years. Low-density foam feels identical in the showroom and flattens within a season.
Fabric or leatherette
Ask for removable covers where the piece allows it — it makes cleaning and later re-covering far cheaper.
Teak or sheesham tables
Solid wood tops can be sanded and re-polished years later. Veneer over board cannot.

Questions about living room furniture

How much space do I need around a sofa set?

Roughly 75–90 cm for any walkway behind or beside it, and 35–45 cm between the sofa and the centre table. We check this on site before building, because it is easier to adjust a drawing than a finished sofa.

Can you match new furniture to what I already have?

Usually. Bring a photograph, or better, a drawer front or offcut, and we match the polish shade and fabric as closely as the material allows. An exact match is easier in fabric than in wood, because timber colour varies naturally.

Is fabric or leatherette better for Bhopal?

Fabric is cooler and breathes, which is noticeable in summer. Leatherette wipes clean and suits homes with young children or pets. Both are available in the same frames — come and sit on each before deciding.

Call us, send a WhatsApp, or visit the showroom in Maharana Pratap Nagar (MP Nagar). We will talk through what you need and your budget before you commit to anything.

  • Measured to your room

We look at the actual space first, so the piece fits alcoves and walls that are not quite square.

  • Made in our own workshop

Built by our own team in Maharana Pratap Nagar (MP Nagar), not ordered in from a catalogue.

  • We repair what we make

Sagging cushions and broken frames are repairs, not replacements — and we restore older furniture too.
